Would you find value in comprehensive audio documentation for the BlindShell Classic 2 phone, created by Mystic Access?
  • Absolutely, and I would be willing to invest $25 or more for it. I would download and use it to make a purchasing decision, or to help me better understand and use my existing BlindShell Classic 2 phone. 30%, 7 votes

We're considering making written transcriptions available for Mystic Access audio products. These would be verbatim transcriptions of our current audio documentation, where we would be sure to distinguish who or what, in the case of a screen reader, is speaking. These would be offered in combination with the audio, and not as separate purchases. Product prices would increase slightly, but not drastically, to accommodate the inclusion of transcripts. Would you benefit from this adition?
  • Yes, absolutely! I'd love to see transcriptions added for all tutorial products. 40%, 25 votes

  • Yes, I think you should make written transcriptions available for all products, however I think you should give people the option to buy just the transcript, just the audio or both. It would be really useful for people who have other disabilities as well as sight loss. It would also be useful for people who prefer to read things. I'm in the latter category personally, I take things in so much better when I read them in Braille. It would also allow people to search the tutorial if they were looking for a specific thing.* 25%, 16 votes

  • No, I don't feel that transcriptions would benefit me at all. 13%, 8 votes

  • Yes, absolutely, but only for certain tutorials. I feel that not all of them would add benefit by being transcribed. 8%, 5 votes

  • While it wouldn't help me now or in the future, it most certainly would be of help to those who are blind, blind/deaf, deaf, or experiencing hearing loss. It might even be useful for those with a learning, mental deficit or related disability.* 8%, 5 votes

  • As someone who mainly uses braille and who learns best by reading, a transcript would make meccsider buying more of the tutorials. With my learning style, I can only deal with audio for so long before I lose focus. The other great thing about transcripts is that if you are looking for very specific info, you can use the find function of whatevery are reading the content on to much more quickly get to what you need.* 6%, 4 votes
